Farida Wazir is the founder and head designer of Florida Candy Buffets. Bouncing from Mumbai to Dubai to Los Angeles and eventually landing here in Orlando, FL, she lives for new experiences and is constantly inspired by the world around her. With her own name being Arabic for “one of a kind,” it’s no surprise she dedicates herself to bringing each client’s unique vision to life.

A self-starter with a background in merchandising and business and an eye for design, she opened Florida Candy Buffets in 2013 to combine her love of sweets and all things pretty. In a nutshell, Farida is bold, fun, and vibrant — just like her candy and dessert tables. A relentless perfectionist, she believes that excellence is in the details.

Fun fact: although she’s constantly surrounded by the most decadent desserts, her favorite will always be a perfectly baked, fresh-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookie.
